Valuation
One of the activities of Derksen Veilingbedrijf is conducting valuations for insurance, estate division, succession, or liquidation purposes.
A valuation is performed in accordance with national standards established by the Federation of Valuers, Real Estate Agents, and Auctioneers of Movable Property. Valuations are prepared and sent within two working days.
Federation TMV
The Federation TMV is the only professional organization of certified appraisers, brokers, and auctioneers of movable property in the Netherlands. The legal predecessor of the Federation is the Dutch organization of brokers, auctioneers, and sworn appraisers of movable goods and machinery, founded in 1951.
Professional interests
The Federation has over 300 members and aims, among other things, to safeguard the professional interests of its affiliated appraisers, real estate agents, and auctioneers, and to monitor and promote the quality and professional competence of its members. Even though the government withdrew the statutory requirements for auctioneers in 1996, and for appraisers and real estate agents a few years later—causing the term ‘sworn in’ to lose its value—the members of the Federation remain committed to maintaining the high level of professionalism.
